It was later discovered that an error had been made in calculating the table and in fact Yorkshire had finished third and so the right of challenge should have gone to Wiltshire. As this was not discovered until the end of October the Minor Counties Cricket Association agreed that the 1933 Championship should be regarded as undecided.
