This match was won by Northumberland by 169 runs on the second day at 5.50pm., Lincolnshire being bowled out for 114 in just over 2 hours.
For the winners Wingham gave a faultless display in making 108 not out in two hours with 18 fours and Hunting played two innings of 65, with 1 six and 9 fours, and 67, with 12 fours.
Norbury maintained an excellent length and
took 6 wickets for 27 runs in the Lincolnshire second innings.
For Lincolnshire Broughton scored 83 with 1 five and 8 fours in the Lincolnshire first innings. It was noted that Rose's wicket-keeping was first rate.
