Notes
--> The match was scheduled for two days but extended to three.
In the second innings of the United South of England WG Grace was dismissed for 13. After the eighth wicket fell he asked to go in again and ran up a score of 133. Some of the newspapers incorrectly showed him batting again with his score as 133 and the total as 238. It is interesting that his split finger (the cause of his first innings retirement) was able to stand up to the effort of the second innings.
