Our thanks to Arthur Haygarth for collecting the information and to Roger Heavens for providing this scorecard which was first published in Arthur Haygarth's Cricket Scores and Biographies Volume 16. Copies of the book can be obtained from http://booksoncricket.net . Additions or corrections to this scorecard would be gratefully received.
A match was subsequently proposed between the Jockeys and Huntsmen of England, but did not come off this season owing to the inability of the latter to collect an Eleven. However like a good many more matches as now arranged and played it would have only been a "public house" affair. It however came off at Lord's in 1880.
