Colne have signed Pakistani paceman Anwar Ali as their professional for 2009. The 21 year-old has played one 20/20 International for Pakistan against Zimbabwe last October after impressing for the Academy on tour in Zimbabwe and Kenya. Ali has a First-class century to his name in averaging 22.1 with the bat since his debut in 2007. He also has 101 wickets at 27.9.
