Simone Callahan has gone in to bat for her estranged husband Shane Warne over claims he slept with 1000 women. Ms Callahan said she would sue author Paul Barry over allegations in his unofficial biography that Warne had been unfaithful only weeks after they married.

 

“I don't like what he (Barry) has said and I'm really disappointed that he has discredited our marriage,” Ms Callahan said. “One thousand is a lot of women and I don't think that's the case. I think it's just a promotion to sell books. I'll have a solicitor looking at it on Monday. It's a bunch of lies."

 

Ms Callahan announced a month ago she was reverting to her maiden name as part of a move to cut all ties with Warne.
