Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer said on Wednesday that injured fast bowler Rana Naved-ul-Hasan would not be available for the first Test against England at Lords commencing on July 13.

Naved, who sustained a groin injury while playing for Sussex earlier in the English season, has made encouraging progress in his recovery and Pakistan had planned to give him a fitness Test on Thursday morning.
He is showing progress on a daily basis and we were going to give him a fitness test on Thursday. But we have put him back a little bit because we feel he is not getting better. He wont be available for the first Test match but certainly he could be available after that, Woolmer said.
The tourists, who are already without injured fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, will play a four-day warm-up match against England A at Canterbury from Thursday.LATEST SCORES
