Australian leg spinner Shane Warne will return home for precautionary medical checks on his bowling shoulder before next summer's Ashes series. According to his personal assistant Helen Nolan, Warne will leave for Melbourne from his English county side Hampshire to have his right shoulder checked by surgeon Greg Hoy.

Noland said that it was only a precautionary check-up and added that Warne's shoulder had been sore during matches between Australia and Bangladesh in April. He however stressed that he would not require surgery.LATEST SCORES
