Result of the scans on Shoaib Akhtar ankle by Pakistan Cricket Board

The result of the scans taken yesterday on Shoaib Akhtar has shown a measure of swelling in his ankle. As a precautionary measure Shoaib will be taken off weight-bearing exercise for a week before he is re-evaluated.

 

Meanwhile Shoaib Akhtar would continue to train with the squad in the gymnasium and the swimming pool.
