2015 Profile
Glamorgan welcome Craig Meschede for 2015 on a season-long loan from the West Country side. The Johannesburg-born all-rounder, with a German father, attended Kings College, Taunton before appearing in age-group teams for Somerset and progressing onto the countys academy.

He made his first-class debut against Sussex at Hove in 2011, besides later in the season claiming the prized scalp of Sachin Tendulkar as his maiden wicket. Also in 2011, Craig showed his explosive talents with the bat by striking a whirlwind 53 from just 28 balls as he helped Somerset defeat Glamorgan in a Twenty20 contest at Taunton.
During 2013 he played in every one-day fixture for Somerset and took career-best figures of 4/5 against Leicestershire in the Yorkshire Bank40 competition in Taunton, in addition to striking an unbeaten 40 against Glamorgan at the same ground with his match-winning salvo including three fours and two sixes in an over against Simon Jones to see the West Country side to victory.
His appearances in 2014 were limited, and the promising all-rounder has agreed a loan deal with Glamorgan for 2015.
