Sussex's Ashar Zaidi will act as sub professional for Haslingden in their opening game against Burnley at Bentgate on Sunday.

 

The former Accrington professional replaces Brenton Parchment who has not arrived due to visa problems.

 

Zaidi hit a match winning unbeaten 138 on his last appearance at Bentgate last August.
