Graham Lloyd has been appointed to the First-class umpires list.

 

Although he has stood down from the club captaincy at Accrington, the 44 year-old has no plans to retire just yet.

 

Lloyd said: "We have such a great bunch of lads down at Accrington who I love playing with so much that I don't want to retire and just sit watching so I will still be available to play but on a much reduced basis."

 

Lloyd has combined playing with umpiring since being appointed to the Reserve List in 2009, the season after he returned to Accrington.
