It was a colourful crowd from both countries, India and Pakistan which came together to witness this great clash between the arch rivals. India with the help of the 'Master Blaster' Sachin Tendulkar who smashed 85 runs along with Sehwag took India to a respectable total with their great cricketing strokes all over the field. The pair initially made Pakistan bowlers toil.

 

When Pakistan batted, Dhoni should be given a pat on his back for his quick bowling changes and his bowlers, Nehra, Munaf Patel, Harbhajan, Zaheer and the allrounder Yuvraj Singh did not et him down as they chipped in with two wickets apiece to dismiss Pakistan and enable India reach finals of this mega event.

 

It was the tall speedster Munaf Patel who gave india the real breakthrough by claiming the inform Hafeez.

 

Kudos to Sachin Tendulkar for guiding India to set up a title clash against Sri Lanka with his experience and skill to handle World Class bowlers.
