Burnley have signed 22 year-old former Pakistan Under 19 captain Imad Wasim. The left handed middle order batsman plays for Islamabad and Federal Areas in Pakistan. He has scored 1495 runs at 39.3 with a highest score of 133 to date since his First-class debut in 2007.

 

Wasim's slow left-arm orthodox bowling has so far accounted for 48 victims at 42.9. Born in Swansea, he will be the club's second Pakistani professional after Mudassar Nazar.
