The Bangladeshi team management have recalled Mohammad Ashraful and Naeem Islam to replace their injured players. Raqibul Hassan and wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim have being ruled out of the ongoing one-day series against England.

 

Roqibul, who top scored for his side with 76 in the first ODI, was injured after being struck by the ball on the left toe while Mushfiqur was hit in the face by left-arm spinner Faisal Hossain and had to be stretchered off the field.

 

Bangladesh lost the first ODI of the three-match series by six wickets in Nottingham on Thursday.

 

Uncapped wicketkeeper Sahgir Hossain had also been called up as cover, he added.
