Mumbai Indians continued their dominant run in the IPL 2010 as they crushed Royal Challengers Bangalore by 57 runs. Mumbai Indians never showed any signs of complacency as they got better of the hosts who controlled the flow of the match in the first half of the match.

The match was delayed by one hour after a couple of low intensity blast outside the stadium.
Anil Kumble decided to field first showing clearly his team's intent of chasing down the target. Mumbai opened with Tendulkar and McLaren and the unconventional pair found it very difficult to score runs. Tendulkar (19, 18b, 3x4) fell in trying to up the ante. Rayudu came and he was straightaway after th bowlers with some thumping hits over the fence. The young Indian batsman went after Kimble with aggression that would have surely stunned the veteran spinner. Rayudu (46, 27b, 4x6, 3x4) was fooled by a slow bouncer from Kallis and Pollard (20, 7b, 3x6) after biffing three huge sixes fell in an attempt for his fourth.
Duminy (42, 19b, 3x6, 3x4) took over the scoring responsibility and after initial uncertainty began to open up. Using some innovative scoring techniques the left-hander upped the ante in the final overs to take the visitors to 191 in their 20 overs.
Bangalore in reply failed to find any momentum as the openers struggled to get the ball off the square. None hosts batsmen asserted any sort of dominance over the visiting bowlers as they failed to give any sort of challenge. Kohli (37, 24b, 1x6, 4x4) down the order used the long handle to give some respectability to the hosts score. Pollard impressed with the ball as the tall West Indian international took three wickets including the wicket of big-hitting Uthappa as he tilted the contest in the favour of Mumbai Indians.LATEST SCORES
