The International Cricket Council (ICC) has named the match officials for the ICC World Twenty20 in the Caribbean, with the members of the Elite Panel being joined by International Panel members Marais Erasmus ,Rod Tucker,Shavir Tarapore

 

The match referees for the tournament, which runs from 30th April to 16th May are Ranjan Madugalle, Alan Hurst and Jeff Crowe.

 

Missing from the list of umpires is Australian Daryl Harper, the ICC confirming that his absence is due to 'a number of general performance reasons', although confirming that 'none of these reasons is related to his role as third umpire in the fourth Test between England and South Africa in Johannesburg earlier this year'.

 

The panel which selected the umpires and match officials comprised David Richardson, ICC General Manager, Cricket, Madugalle, David Lloyd(former player) and Srinivas Venkataraghavan (former umpire).
