Pakistan have appointed former fast bowler Waqar Younis as their bowling and fielding coach for the tour of Australia, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced.
 
"PCB announces the appointment of Mr. Waqar Younis as bowling and fielding coach for the upcoming Pakistan-Australia Test and ODI Series 2009-10," a media release read. 
Younis played 87 Tests and 212 One-Day Internationals for Pakistan in a career that lasted from 1989 to 2003, during which he also captained the side and played for Surrey, Glamorgan and Warwickshire in England. 
He took 373 Test wickets for Pakistan and 416 ODI wickets, forming a successful partnership with fellow fast bowler Wasim Akram.LATEST SCORES
