The fifth and the final match of the ODI series between England and South Africa was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
 
The ground was drenched and play was impossible due to non-stop rain. The umpires inspected the ground at 5pm local time and deemed that the ground was unfit for play. 
It required two abandonment for the series to be secured by England who displayed great stomach for fight when they were pushed into corner as they bounced back in the fourth ODI after being thrashed in the third ODI to take lead in the series. 
With the second leg of the tour over the interest now shifts to the Test series which begins on December 16.LATEST SCORES
