DateLine: 3rd November 2009
New Zealand's top-ranked ODI bowler Kyle Mills has been forced out of the opening game against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi.

The right-arm medium-pacer has been struggling with a sore shoulder and did not train on Monday.
He is expected to be available for the second of the three matches on Friday.
The Black Caps are already without opening batsman Jesse Ryder, seamer Daryl Tuffey and all-rounder Grant Elliott for the series. Even Ian Butler, who suffered a knee injury playing for Otago during the recent Champions League Twenty20 tournament, is also a doubt.
Mills' absence opens the way for Tim Southee. He has not played one-dayers for the Black Caps since suffering a torrid time at the hands of India back in March.LATEST SCORES
