Khurram Chauhan claimed four wickets, including three of the top four Kenyan batsmen and Rizwan Cheema scored 76 not out and claimed two wickets as Canada crushed Kenya by nine wickets in their first One-Day International.

 

Batting first, Kenya were restricted to 113 in just 33.1 overs, with Chauhan claiming 4/26 off 10 overs. Cheema, Osinde and Baidwan claimed two wickets each.

 

Only skipper Morris Ouma with 43 not out provided any resistance.

 

In reply, Canada reached 117/1 in just 16.2 overs, with Cheema scoring his unbeaten 76 off just 38 balls with 10 fours and four sixes.
