Sri Lankan champion off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan said that he will retire from Test cricket in November of 2010.
 
The Lankans are scheduled to host the West Indies at home after which the team will not see Murali, the highest wicket-taker in Test cricket, wear the Test whites again. 
At the age of 37, the champion offie has 770 wickets at an average of 22.18 from 127 Tests. He overtook Australian spin legend Shane Warne's record of 708 wickets against England in December 2007 in his homeground Kandy. 
Murali also is the highest wicket-taker in ODI's after surpassing Pakistan speedster Wasim Akram's record of 502 wickets in 2009.LATEST SCORES
