England have been fined for slow over-rate during their 115-run Ashes Test victory over Australia at Lord's.

As per the International Cricket Council's code of conduct, captain Andrew Strauss has been charged 20 per cent of his match fees while the rest of the team loses 10 per cent after match referee Jeff Crowe deemed the hosts to be two overs short of its target at the end of the match.
Under ICC regulations governing over-rate penalties, players are fined 5 per cent of their match fees for every over short with the captain's fine doubled and there is no right of appeal.
