Tamil Nadu wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh karthik will be flown to England as a replacement for the injured vice-captain Virender Sehwag, who will fly back home, according to a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) release.

Sehwag is suffering from a shoulder injury. The right-hander suffered the injury during the IPL and has since been out of action.
The development would surely be hampering India's chances of defending the cup as Sehwag at the top of the order was a key member of the side.
Sehwag had earlier missed both of India's warm-up games and the win against Bangladesh on Saturday.
Rohit Sharma has been used as a makeshift opener post Sehwag's injury and the right-handed youngster has been living up to expectations in his new position.
Karthik, who played for Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League, showed a lot of form in the tournament and would be expected to do well in England as well.LATEST SCORES
