The ICC T20 event technical committee has confirmed two changes in squads for ICC World Twenty20 2009.
 
Tim Gruijters will replace Ruud Nijman in Netherlands mens squad who suffered back and leg injuries during a warm-up match against Bangladesh while Danielle Hazell can replace Anya Shrubsole in England womens squad who has been ruled out with a back injury. 
The confirmation of Nijmans replacement was conveyed to the Netherlands Cricket Board (KNCB) on behalf of the committee today on Wednesday. The committe approved of the change after having reviewed the medical reports and assessing Nijmans case. 
The confirmation of Shrubsoles replacement was also conveyed to the ECB on behalf of the event technical committee on Thursday. 
The Netherlands plays their first game of the tournament on Friday in the opening match of the tournament against hosts England, while the Englands womens team plays its first game of the tournament proper on June 11 against India at Taunton. 
The event technical committee of the ICC World Twenty20 2009 consists of David Richardson (ICC General Manager Cricket and event technical committee chairman), Steve Elworthy (tournament director), Campbell Jamieson (representative of IDI, the ICCs commercial arm which runs major ICC events), Alan Fordham (ECB representative), Ian Bishop (independent nomination) and David Lloyd (independent nomination).LATEST SCORES
