DateLine: 12th May 2009
Rajasthan Royals may be without the services of their skipper Shane Warne for a while, as the veteran leg-spinner is recovering from a hamstring injury.

"Shane Warne, Captain Coach, Rajasthan Royals strained his hamstring in the match played against Deccan Chargers in Kimberley on Monday 11 May, 2009, an official communication from the Rajasthan Royals says. He is currently working with the team doctor and we will have more information in the next 24 hours."
However, if indications are to be believed, Warne may be out of action for a considerable period, as much as ten days.
Rajasthan can ill afford to have him on the casualty list as the crunch end of the Indian Premier League approaches, since he has been the man who has rallied them through thick and thin.
The official communiqué did not specify if any replacement was being considered for the captains post.LATEST SCORES
