Former Kerala batsman and Skipper S Rajesh passed away in Trivandrum today.

He had served Kerala Cricket in different capacities including as a Selector, Coach and Manager. One of the sharpest Cricketers Kerala had ever produced; Rajesh had played in 27 first class matches and used to play for the Reserve Bank of India, Trivandrum in the Trivandrum District Cricket Association League. Rajesh’s brothers S Ramesh and S Santhosh had also played for Kerala in the Ranji Trophy.

Rajesh is survived by his son. KCA President Adv.TR Balakrishnan, Honorary Secretary TC Mathew, Honorary Asstistant Secretary Dr. Anil Kumar and other office bearers of Kerala Cricket Association, TDCA President VG Reghunath, Honorary Secretary Vinod S Kumar and other office bearers and members of TDCA expressed deep condolence over the untimely death of Rajesh.
