WINGFIELD, William Henry
Professional.
Born at Wimbledon, Surrey, 28th July 1857.
Died at Wimbledon, Surrey, 10th October 1938.
He played three times for Surrey as a professional in 1881.
At the time of the 1881 Census he was living at 36 Church Road, Wimbledon, unmarried, aged 23, a painter, with his widowed mother Jane age 61.
At the time of the 1901 Census he was living at 92 Alexandra Road, Wimbledon, aged 43, the Registrar of birth, death and local marriage for Wimbledon, with his wife Bessie, aged 44. They have a nephew/adopted son, Henry H. Matherson, aged 7, and a boarder Mart Brown, single aged 40, a corn merchants clerk.
