Born at Greenwich, London, 22nd March 1858.
Died at Blackheath, London, 19th December 1921.
The son of Henry Graham Stokes, of St John’s Park, Blackheath, both his brothers, Frederic and Lennard played cricket for Kent and rugby for England. Graham played cricket for Kent in four matches 1880-81. He was a solicitor, living at Blackheath.
At the time of the 1881 Census he was living at Manor Road, Kidbrooke, Kent, as the brother-in-law of Christopher Lethbridge, aged 38, a solicitor, and his wife Mary A., aged 33, both born in Greenwich, who have four daughters, Florence M. aged 11, Ethel M. aged 9, Elizabeth G. aged 3 and Marion E. aged 1, all born at Kidbrooke. Graham Stokes is aged 23 and unmarried, a solicitors articled clerk. There is one boarder, Miss Emily Sterne, aged 22, a governess. There are four domestic servants.
