| Player: | L Pitchford |
Len Pitchford was the professional at Ebbw Vale in the 1930`s, and in 1935 the right-handed batsman made two first-class appearances for Glamorgan. His selection followed an innings of 226 against Berkshire in a Minor County match at Cardiff Arms Park.

Despite his outstanding record in Minor County and club matches, he was not called up again by Glamorgan. He had previously played for Bedfordshire and had a spell on the Lancashire groundstaff before moving to South Wales.
After retiring from League cricket, Pitchford was the groundsman at the St.Helen`s ground in Swansea, and then at B.P.Llandarcy.
