Despite the absence of their skipper Michael Falcon, who was touring the USA with the Incogniti, Norfolk won the Championship by virtue of securing a first innings lead of 76 runs in a match that was severely affected by rain.
There were only 2 hours 12 minutes play on the first day and 1 hour 52 minutes on the second.
On the third afternoon Norfolk collapsed but they were not dismissed until 5.20pm and, as it had been agreed to finish the match at 5.30pm, Glamorgan did not commence their second innings.
For the Champions there were 5 fours in Popham's 74, an innings of 1 hour 40 minutes; he added 79 runs for the second wicket with Stevens.
Falconer took 5 wickets for 49 runs and Fulcher took 5 wickets for 26.
For the runners-up Tait top-scored with 46; he added 95 runs for the first wicket with Riches.
Creber took 12 wickets for 112 runs in the match, including figures of 8 for 33 in Norfolk's second innings during which he bowled unchanged.
Billings caught 2 batsmen in Norfolk's first innings and stumped 2 in their second whilst Bancroft took 3 catches in the match.
