This match was drawn with Dorset winning on first innings. Rain stopped play half an hour before lunch on the second day and, after a subsequent torrential storm, the match was abandoned at 3 pm. For Dorset Cummins's innings of 32, made at number 9, was the highest score of the match and with Goodden he added 50 for the ninth wicket. Walby took 6 wickets for 17 runs in Wiltshire's innings. For Wiltshire Taunton top-scored with 31 whilst Mitchell took 5 wickets for 53 runs in Dorset's first innings.
