This match, which was for the benefit of Jack Golding, was drawn. Rain on the first day delayed the start until noon, and after a little over half-an-hour the rain returned and prevented any further play that day. For the home side, there were 2 sixes and 7 fours in Coleman's 75. In the Suffolk innings, Marsh took 6 wickets for 58 runs. For the visitors, there were 16 fours and 5 threes in H L Wilson's 113.
