This card comes from the Minor Counties Research Project - research is continuing on this scorecard which can be expected to change.
Rain-spoilt drawn match, with only 1½ hours play being possible. The weather prevented a start in this match before 3.30 pm on the first day and halted play again for 45 minutes at 4.15 pm, and then again for the day at 5.45 pm. Given heavy rain overnight, continuous rain on the Friday morning and the pitch being in a poor state, the umpires judged no further play would be possible and the match was abandoned at 11.45 am. There were 5 fours in Orr's 53.
[Missing: Umpires.]
