Notes

--> F Whiting reached 50 wickets in Minor Counties Championship matches when taking his 2nd wicket in the Monmouthshire second innings
This card comes from the Minor Counties Research Project - research is continuing on this scorecard which can be expected to change.
Drawn rain-affected return match with Monmouthshire winning on first innings. When the teams met at Camborne in June, the result had also been a draw. Only ten minutes play was possible on the first day before rain stopped play after 10 runs had been scored and, though the rain stopped around 3.00 pm, the wicket did not dry. At 4.50 pm it was decided to abandon play for the day and bring the start forward to 10.45 am on the second day. On the second day, rain prevented play until after lunch. The pitch favoured the bowlers over the batsmen. The Monmouthshire second innings collapse had several players changing back into their cricket gear. Another version shows Stedman 2, Trevarthen conceding 9 runs and the total 22 in the Monmouthshire second innings.
[Missing: Umpires; extras breakdown; in Monmouthshire second inings fall of first to fourth wickets.]
