Drawn return match with Monmouthshire winning on first innings. The match between the two sides at Cardiff in June had been won by Monmouthshire. On the first day rain stopped play after only 3 runs had been scored. When the game was restarted at 3.30 pm only one further over was bowled, but at the next resumption at 5.30 pm, an hour of uninterrupted play was possible. For the home team, there were 8 fours in E S Phillips's 51 not out. For Glamorgan, Bancroft's 44 not out in the Glamorgan second innings contained 6 fours. There were no extras conceded during the Glamorgan first innings, but Diver injured a hand and W A Williams kept wicket in the Glamorgan second innings.
