Wiltshire completed their victory shortly after 6.00 pm on the first day, after a few minutes of extra time had been played to allow the last Devon second-innings wicket to fall. It was the first Championship match played at hte new County Ground. Wiltshire had also won the game between the two teams at Swindon the week before. Miller top-scored in the match with his innings of 43, which included 5 fours.
