This rain-affected return match was drawn, after Glamorgan followed on 179 runs behind. Showers caused the loss of three hours on the second day, with no play between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm. Worcestershire had won when the teams met at Cardiff in July. Worcestershire had already secured the Championship, but by avoiding defeat Glamorgan ensured they were on the way towards occupying second place ahead of Durham. For Worcestershire, there were 7 fours both in Arnold's 76 and G E Bromley-Martin's 63. Letcher top-scored for Glamorgan with 51.
