The match started in the afternoon on the first day and stumps were drawn at 5.30pm following a successful appeal against the light
D Glover scored 1 five in the Nelson first innings
HHL Kortlang and WJR Christopherson added 161 for the third wicket in the Wellington XI first innings
WJR Christopherson and AM Hollings added 115 for the seventh wicket in the Wellington XI first innings
HHL Kortlang was unavailable on the third day so Nelson players took turns in fielding as a substitute with LM Johnson catching ER Neale
