The annual racquets and billiards matches between the Royal Artillery and Royal Engineers were played at Woolwich on the 16th and 17th inst. Captain A.S. Griffiths and Lieutenant Carter won the double racquet match for the Royal Artillery, beating Captain Scott and Lieutenant Cairns, of the Royal Engineers, and Lieutenant Carter beat Lieutenant Cairns in the single match. Major Hutchinson and Captain A.W. Anstruther won the double billiard match for the Royal Artillery beating Captain Seaton and Captain Glancy of the Royal Engineers, and Captain Anstruther beat Captain Glancy for the single match.
