Notes
--> The match was scheduled for two days but completed in one.
The pitch at the University ground was thought suspect by the captains but the game began and Quebec's first innings passed without incident. However on Ontario batting the condition of the ground deteriorated to some extent and on Jemmott changing ends and bowling from the Hosking Avenue end a ball stood up off a length and hit Cross on the forehead. He was removed from the field for attention and the captains agreed to stop the match, replaying it at Armour Heights on the next day.
