Play commenced at 11.00 a.m. on each of the first three days and at 10.00 a.m. on the final day. Stumps were drawn at six o'clock or on the completion of the over being bowled at 6.00 p.m. on each of the first three days. The match reached a result at 4.17 p.m. on the fourth and final day of the game. For the first time a match in the Sydney Gregory Cup competition was played over four days.
