Notes
--> The first innings of the match was limited to 100 overs; the total overs for both teams first innings was limited to 200 overs
--> Bowling in the South Australia Country first innings adds 1 run under
Twelfth men: PA O'Reilly (South Australia Country), CA Doncon (Western Australia Country)
Match notes
For the first time in all Championships matches a team was dismissed for a total of less than 50. The dismissal of each of the Burns brothers for no score is a quite unusual happening in a game of this level in Australia and the fact that they were the opening batsmen in each innings also adds to the unusualness of the feat. The South Australian wicket keeping duties were shared by Potts and Clifford.
