Notes
--> J Weller made his debut in First-Class matches
--> G Leycester made his debut for England in First-Class matches
--> C Warren made his debut for England in First-Class matches
England had Beldham as a given man. See the note to the preceding game regarding J Tanner. John Goulstone has established that J Weller, making his first appearance in this match, changed his name to Ladbroke in 1819 following an inheritance and as JW Ladbroke became patron of the Godalming Club, which played 'important' matches in the 1820s. FC and JW Ladbroke were cousins, not brothers as is commonly stated.
