Obviously the given men would not have batted last, as shown, but no source gives a more convincing order. The identity of 'Brown' is uncertain. uncertain. W Browning of East Malling appears sometimes as Brown but does not seem a likely candidate to have been engaged as as given man and appearance has therefore been assigned to W Beeston, who is known to have used Brown as an alias.
