Chairman Stan Heaton said: We are very pleased to have signed Damien. We were keen to obtain the services of a fast bowling all-rounder and his experience particularly in the UK should be very beneficial to the team. Im sure he will have a marked effect on all the players, particularly the many young players coming through, and will be very popular with the members and supporters.
"Wright follows a long line of quality professional successfully acquired by M.D. Dave Wren . Andrew MacDonald (test) and Ryan Harris (20/20) currently enjoying national call ups. "
Lowerhouse wish to thank Gary Hunt of Cric-Intro for his assistance in the signing.
