Lowerhouse have at last secured a professional for the 2007 season.

The 2005 Lancashire League champions have signed 25 year-old New South Wales player Aaron O'Brien.
O'Brien bats left handed and bowls left arm spin. Since making his First-class debut in 2001-02 he has 716 runs at 23.1 and 7 wickets from 20 matches. His best score is 147, his sole First-class ton to date.
Lowerhouse had originally signed Jon Moss, but the Australian had to withdraw on the eve of the season. Former professional Ryan Harris stood in, but he had to return home last week.
