Bernard and Sam Reidy have returned to their home club Enfield. Veteran Bernard returns at the age of 52 to play what will probably be his last season after an illustrious senior career that began in 1970 and which took him to county success with Lancashire. Bernard returned to Enfield as professional in 1987 for a two year spell and in 1997 he returned as an amateur to play in the same side as his son Sam.

Sam, like his father returns after spells at Baxenden and Walkden. Enfield have also signed Chris Maudsley (Church), Richard Bedford (from Ribblesdale Wanderers) who replaces Bryon Taylor as 2nd X1 Captain, Richard's son Liam Bedford (also Ribblesdale Wanderers) and Edward O'Neill (Church). Andy Barker has recovered from shoulder surgery and is fit to play all season. Chris Leeming returns after travelling around Australia and Mick Devenney is also playing again.

Enfield have a friendly arranged on Monday 17th April. The game will be at Enfield starting at 1.00pm and will be an interclub match between a Bracewell X1 and a Bedford X1. Both teams will be a mix of first and second team players with selection being made on Sunday 2nd April. Teams will be announced on club website (enfieldcricketclub.co.uk) and in the clubhouse.
