DateLine: 23rd February 2006
Sri Lanka player Jehan Mubarak has been fined 25 per cent of his match fee for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during his countrys second ODI against Bangladesh.

Mubarak was found guilty of showing dissent at an umpires decision by ICC Match Referee Alan Hurst in a hearing after play concluded in Bogra on Wednesday.
Mubarak was found to have breached 1.3 of the ICC Code which relates to "showing dissent at an umpires decision by action or verbal abuse".
"Disputing an umpire's decision shows a lack of respect for the umpire and there is no place for this type of behaviour in international cricket. The player has recognized the inappropriateness of his actions," said Mr Hurst.
All Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand and a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a players match fee.
The charge was brought by TV umpire Nadir Shah and on-field umpires Krishna Hariharan and Mahbubur Rahman after an incident when Mubarak was batting.
For Level 1 breaches of the ICC Code of Conduct the ICC Match Referees decision is final and binding.
