Rishton Cricket Club is saddened to hear of the death of former player David Lomas who passed away on Christmas Day.

 

David was a larger than life character who served the club as a first team player in the 60s and 70s.

 

He also had a stint as second team captain and was Chairman of the club in 1979.

 

The committee of Rishton Cricket Club together with its members wish to pass on to David's family their most heartfelt condolences at this sad time

 

David's funeral will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday January 15th at 1.40pm followed by a wake at Rishton Cricket Club from 2.15pm.
